Lots of godd detail, pity about the camera. The lack of photos loses a star. Sorry! I'll upload one of my Kyanjin photos.

Hi Brian,

a couple of additional photos have been added to the page and it looks a lot nicer now...

Maybe you could think about upgrading your vote.

Thank´s,

Christoph

Christoph, I've upgraded my vote, only teasing anyway! Some good photos along the valley, I wonder if any of these people went to Yala?

Very good and informative page. Interesting to read about the landslide. You should change the route name to Standard from west. Same as in German ;-)

Nice peak to view the Langtang area and home to a vanished 26,000er. Quite a paper on this published by Elsevier! Nowadays in the US this would have been a milk carton mountain!

Thank´s for your vote. Yes, quite a paper. I guess I´ve chosen the wrong side as I´m now in a molecular biology lab. Doing a month of field research in the Langtang definetly sound like a lot of more fun...

Nicely done and good pics, too. The link to the report on the landslide was very informative - what an amazing event!

The slope failure discussion you added to Tsergo Ri is similar (although on a much grander scale no doubt) to the Turtle Mountain page I added. The Frank Slide as they called it actually killed quite a few folks as they were mining this mountain at the time. There was even some specuation that the mining might have helped caused the slide, but modern study has ruled that out. Thanks you your kind comments CJ.

Nice page! Beautiful photos, nicely incorporated into the page.

One thing: the interactive google map tries to open some german site in a popup, on a page that cannot be found. Maybe you should check this out?

Thanks for your vote and comment rbi. As regards the interactive map I don´thave a clue. When I view it and click on the respective peaks everything seems to be fine and no pop-ups appear. Probably a browser problem ( I´m using Mozialla)?
