I tried gazelle, only got mine to the damn teahouse....and he thought that was a chore. Should have been a completely uneventful scramble, but I hardly ever see Golden Eagles (they fly and hunt at a much higher elevation than Balds and Ospreys), much less get within 6'. A tremendous bonus. Cheers!

Cool page describing the possible routes and giving people options! I did not know there was a trail to the top either, the direct line up the east face is probably a bit more exciting.
