Perhaps quite a long ridge. Town of the Campelli on the north slope which is drained by river Adda. Zuccone di Campelli must be 24 km ESE of the town of Campelli and about 36km east of Pizzo di Coca between the Towns of Moggio and Valtorta. Sort of a southerly spur of the long east-west ridge forming the southern basin of River Adda.

Coordinates consistent with the above and midway between Moggio and Valtorta yield

Latitude: 45.9533

Longitude: 9.5169

Prominence 510 meters

This agrees with another internet reference.

thanks for voting :)

... but Campelli is only a local name not related to the small

town of the Campelli near Sondrio and waters coming from here go, toward west directly to the Como lake (Bellano) and toward east to the Brembo river

I think I can understand what you say about needing maps or panoramas to understand this group. Last year it took me all three weeks to figure out the Lienz Dolomites - I had to look at them from each direction until I got it.

Yery good overview page. Luckily now SP members don't need to trouble themselves anymore :-)

Very fine contribution, Gabriele! Of course these mountains were unknown to me, so it was even more amusing to read your page.

Thanks Gabriele, your own beta and wealth of experience is overwhelming. My wife was just talking about a visit to Italy last night. I replied that I could keep busy there and had the best of all guide books here at SP. Cheers!
