Hasn't voted | Thank´s for your vote. The mountain is so green because it is made up of aptychic limestone,a variant of rock which seems to be perfect ground for the groth of grass and rare flowers like Edelweiss. Will add that information to the page tomorrow. Thank´s again! | |

Voted 10/10 | Beautiful, very complete page! Seeing pictures from Allgaeu before, I was allways asking myself if it's real that all that grass covers almost vertical walls. But it's true. I saw something similar also in Julian Alps, where even hard climbs were done over such a wall (there was a funny description - 'we were pulling up holding grass...'). | |
