Isn't that the sinking Titanic? I think I saw Leonardo somewhere...

You are incredibly fast Gangolf! Cool page! Good to read that you want to put up a group page for the Allgaeu Alps. Thank´s for crediting my Rauheck page and choosing my photo as your signature pic!

Thanks and you're welcome. The group page will have to wait until after the vacation. Sometime in August...

Hoher Ifen has attracted my attendance since long ago. But it's quite far away from my home, so my Allgeau score is still zero :-(

Very good page, Gangolf, interested reading and fine pictures. Also looking forward to the group page.

I think that I might be capable of climbing this one. It appears to be about 150 miles west of Salzburg (3 degrees). Well done page

Thanks Mark! Capable? Certainly! It's an easy hike for most of the way. Salzburg? Are you or will you be there

Unfortunately have to stay on this side of the pond. Salzburg- well I have to listen to the record player for stuff like Mozart concerto K 503!

Thanks to you I now discover untrodden places (from my point of view) I never heard about before. Go on, Gangolf, you are the best...! "Primum inter pares"

Thanks Claude! Funny you haven't heard of it before. It really is one of the landmarks of Allgäu. If you look at the web sites of the area it is very prominent. Somehow it was the logical choice for me when I decided to put up an Allgäu mountain.
