Interesting looking climbing area and a lot of rock for the elevation. I was surprised at how compact the rock is. Cool climbing pix.

The rock is granite I think, compact with hollow cracks.

It is a great area.

Working on the other two summits in a few months.

Thanks for voting.

Interesting area, and I like the idea of using a map for the Getting There section, but some needed info is lacking.

For example a useful link to info about camping

Also, When to Climb and Mountain Conditions. It was implied somewhere on the SEPAQ website that the reserve is not open year-round. That's important info that should be on the main page.

I think this is a beautiful area that doesn't seem to get much visitation from people outside of Quebec. Note that you called Grand-Jardins a "National State Park." In fact it is a Quebec Provincial Park managed by SEPAQ who won a contract about 10 years ago to run the parks for the province. In French Quebec calls its parks "Parc National," I assume to assert its sovereignty claim. However, Canadian National Parks are altogether different and are administered by Parks Canada.
