By the way, do you know who the peak was named for? There are several "Wheeler" features around, I think. | |

Hasn't voted | Thanks for the vote, Nelson. I was also curious about who "Wheeler" was. The NM high point is also a "Wheeler" and there are several things on summitpost with similar names. I googled it, but found nothing. Beats me. I wanted to climb this one for a while, and finally got around to it. Now, I don't know why I saved it for so long. It's an amazing area. | |

Hasn't voted | Thanks for the vote, Ryan. I'll add the ranking number to the intro. This ridge is much tougher than the Helen-Dyer ridge. The rock is much looser, the route finding is tougher, and the difficult portions are a lot longer. | |
