Voted 10/10 | Good page Eduardo! You've had a good start in SP. I don't know Correcillas though I've visited other areas of Cordillera Cantábrica (Peña Prieta). Perhaps you could add any other route in the ROUTES section, SUMMIT LOGS or TRIP REPORTS, and BOOKS. Thanks | |

Hasn't voted | First at all thanks again! I know Peña Prieta. I was near to reach its summit once... in fact I was in one of its neighbours top, Tres Provincias, but weather was no good and despite the idea was reach Peña Prieta people decided to go back... I really liked the area around San Glorio pass. We took a route through Boquerón de Bobias from San Glorio, but I know there is a route from there going down Cubil del Can peak, then Peña Prieta and finally Tres Provincias... which one did you use? Hasn't voted | I forgot again... I´m thinking to add at least two or three more routes to Polvoreda peak, because it´s a love peak from people on the province, I mean I must do it and very well! The problem is I don´t know on person, I mean I have it in books or I know them from other people so I won´t be very descriptive. Perhaps I could ask a friend of mine... but his English it´s even worst than mine, what do you thing? I´ll try to find any book from Amazon, It will be difficult I´m afraid, and as you said I´ll add my summit logs. | |

Voted 10/10 | Eduardo, si tu amigo no domina bien el inglés trata de hacer las rutas tu. Y sobre Peña Prieta decirte que subí con un amigo desde el puerto de San Glorio, pasando por la cima del Tres Provincias y a la vuelta bajamos al Valle del Arroyo del Naranco para luego alcanzar el puerto de nuevo. Por cierto, que nosotros nos dimos la vuelta un día porque el tiempo se puso muy mal e íbamos mal de tiempo, y al día siguiente salió un día bueno e hicimos cumbre. Me acuerdo que utilizamos el camping de Boca de Huérgano como base de nuestras excursiones, pues también hicimos la Ruta del Cares, que aunque yo ya la había hecho mi amigo no. | |

Hasn't voted | Muy bien, la ruta del Cares está muy bien, habría que citarla no sé cómo... tal vez como new route en Picos de Europa, que por cierto me parece una cosa como muy genérica... es un pequeño bosque de cumbres... Salu2 | |

De momento estoy lanzado si, jeje, aunque me voy a calmar y voy a tratar de pulir al máximo lo que he hecho hasta ahora y tratar de añadir más información útil. Tengo otros 4 ó 5 picos en mente... no más, necesito salir más al monte y menos trabajar, pero de algo hay que vivir. Saludos | |

Voted 10/10 | si bueno, eso nos pasa a todos, somos montañeros de fin de semana. Pasamos la semana trabajando pensando que monte subimos el fin de semana. Lo del montón de piedras de 2 metros en la cima es gracioso pero no te creas que es nuevo, ya lo hizo Henry Russell en Vignemale para que midiese 3300 metros, y era en 1870 cuando no había GPS ni otras tecnologías para medir la altura y ya decían que tenía 3298 con los medios de entonces (es la altura real 1 siglo y medio después). Alguno de estos debía haber intentado medir el Balaitous y no seguiriamos dudando si tiene 3144 o 3151 (me hecho a reir cada vez que me dicen que en un vértice geodésico de primer orden el error máximo admitido es de 20 cm con la tecnología actual, me troncho). Ni siquiera el equipo de los tresmiles sabe que altura ponerle dudando en 7 metros! A mi me pasó lo mismo en mi página hasta que lo subí con mi GPS (3153m) así que me he sentido identificado con tus disquisiciones con la altura. Ya sabes lo que te toca para salir de dudas... | |

Hasn't voted | Hi eza, I was a cyclist (but not very much) :-D Try Correcillas, but I really belived it´s better in winter, because it´s funnier and more beautifull with snow... I´ve remembered I have to finish my routes... Paso del Lobo one it´s probably the best. The problem is I haven´t done yet, but I have heart about it. I´m the only one from León so, I feel I have a great responsability xD (just kidding). I´ll try to get info from my friend Luis who have done this route several times.
