Your page makes me regret I didn't hike Sundog with Redcloud/Sunshine. I consider that a successful page!

Tough-looking peak.

Nice page. I didn't realize the mountain was that separated from Sunshine. All I could go by was the topozone link you provided. I wish I would have climbed this instead of the scree going down from Sunshine.

Good one. Also gave you four stars for the "Return via Redcloud" shot you put on the Sunshine page. That sounds like great advice and I hope some people follow it.

Thanks Jim. I hope people take my advice too - it seems like the best option to me. Maybe with the "fear of the unkown" out of the way they'll be more tempted.

Good stuff, Andy. Did you enjoy your foray into the San Juans?

Thanks Ryan. Our first trip into the San Juans was fun. The climbing wasn't anything to write home about but I didn't expect it would be. This was more of a "lets just bust out some easy 14ers so it looks like I'm making progress" trip. However, American Basin was absolutely amazing. I think we hit the wildflowers peak pretty close and it was spectacular! We also had fun driving around in our new Jeep - we ran Cinnamon Pass (a couple of times actually) and Engineer Pass. If at all possible we're going to try and squeeze another trip in this season - maybe Wetterhorn/Uncompaghre or Sneffles.
