Voted 10/10 | Good page and now I see you've added an active weather link. Since you know more about the Smoky Mountains than I do, would it be possible to climb Titus, Bromaghin, and Saviers Peak in one day?

Hasn't voted | Good question MG. Many do climb Titus, Lower Titus, Bromaghin, and Saviers in one day. Most of they time they will start from Galens Summit and work southward grabbing each peak along the ridgeline. I did this as one of my first climbs in 2003 and found it to be one of the most strenuous climbs ever. After being up in the area and approaching from the east yesterday, up Owl Creek, personally, I believe it would be much easier to do it this way. Of course, you would miss Lower Titus Peak, but that area is more for back country skiiers than hikers. Again, on a personal note, the Smokys aren't my favorite area, they're much different than any other range in the area but are still beautiful. If you were to climb in them, Saviers and Bromaghin would be the place to do it. Sean

Voted 10/10 | Good page Sean. Looks like you had no problem with the Owl Creek road. We skirted to the south of Bromaghin when we did the Camas County highpoint last week. I should have a pic or two of Bromaghin from Pk 10,337 to post. Oops, in checking the map, it was Saviers that we skirted although we had a nice view of Bromaghin from the end of the Owl Creek Road. We went cross country to the southwest. Neat area. BTW, I was surprised to pick a tick off of me so late in the year. That area must be crawling with them earlier on.

Hasn't voted | Thanks for the vote Dean! The tick situation has been strange this year. I had never seen them in Idaho before this summer where I have already found three on me after climbing in the Sawtooth! Those things weird me out, I wear tick repellent now lol Sean

Voted 10/10 | Fine page again Sean. I hate to do this: there is another html bug in the weather section. This time Weather Underground is to blame. Their generated source code comes with a return after border=0. This destroys the link so that the alt-option is displayed below the image. Delete that return (a space is enough). And please exchange alt for title. This way all users will get the tooltip. We Mozilla Users don't see the alt ones :o(
