Voted 1/10 | This page has had the promise of "More detailed info to come" for more than a year. It has a ton of nice information about wilderness regulations, but I can get that info with a phone call or by checking a Forest Service site. It has interesting background information about the peak, which is just interesting, not helpful for climbing. Missing from its creation has been route information. No one visiting this page can have any idea of how long the climb is, much less how much elevation one gains or what the difficulty is. Inexplicably, some very prominent SP members voted 10/10 on this page. I can only surmise that they did so early on and were voting on what looked at the time like a promising new page. Instead, in terms of practical worth, this page is a dud. This member similarly botched the Dallas Peak page, which Aaron Johnson recently rescued. This member's profile say he was last active seven months ago. Abandoned page? | |
