Thanks Sean! I still need to label that pano and that's the major pain of it all. Once you have done it once you can just copy the code and exchange the picture numbers. But the labels are individual :-(
Thanks Livio! The weather wasn't too bad - we actually got quite sunburned! But faraway views were not possible. On the large pano you can barely see Civetta on the right hand side above Col Margherita...
Thanks Vid! I think the Federspiel Ferrata would be interesting for you too. You don't need any ferrata gear, it's easy enough but longish. Best trailhead is Malga di Crocefisso in Valle di San Nicolò. Look for perfect weather though.
Didn't you say once not too long ago that you were going to "slow down" on adding mountain pages? I see you have chenged your mind! Keep them coming!!!
Thanks Scott. A while ago? I guess that was before July when I ran out of photos (and pages) to post. I reloaded during those three weeks. I just went south of the San Pellegrino Valley to post a new page on Cima Iuribrutto. Very interesting because the Spiz was Austrian territory during WW I while Iuribrutto was Italian. They couldn't use Artillery which didn't reach that far back then. So they actually stormed the other side on foot with mounted bajonets. No one lost the fighting but the Austrians lost the war and so both ridges are Italian today.
