Hasn't voted | Yep, most of the mountains in this part of the state are volcanic. Just a few miles north of my house is Cedar Mountain, a volcano. To the north are the Elkheads, and all are volcanic. To the south are the Flat Tops, made entirely of volcanics. | |

Hasn't voted | The lake is named for Steamboat Springs. They are hot springs and the old timers called the place Steamboat Springs because the steam shooting out sounded like a steamboat. | |
