Good page. You could mention that Tilicho Peak was first climbed by a French expedition led by Emanuel Schmutz in 1978 via the North Ridge.

Thanks for the info. However I found a page that says the first ascent was done via the NW Shoulder?

Well, strange.

My source is Jill Neate´s "High Asia - An Illustrated History of the World´s 7000 Meter Peaks". Very comprehensive and normally quite reliable.

However the Himalayan Index also says the peak has been first climbed via the NW Shoulder so I guess you are right!

The page looks good, quite a long getting there section as has to be expected. The overview is a bit shortish

Thanks for the comment. I just added some historic background of the Great Barrier to the "Overview" section.

Thanks for the comment. You are right, the color of the water is very special simply because there are no outlets!
