Try these coordinates please and then check the topozone

Good pix and route pix too. Sure can't do anything about forest fires.

I will add pics within a week but am doing this from home and do not have a scanner here. I will try your coordinates; mine are based on the USGS Mount Grant Quad, but I noticed the Topozone problem, too. Maybe I entered the info incorrectly.

I entered your coordinates and that did the trick. Thank you. If you don't mind, would you please tell me where or how you got those numbers? They are not on my quad.

I thought the name curious because the name of the mountain is that of the former Great Northern Paper Co. of Millinocket Maine. Starting around 1900, this was once the largest paper mill in the world with 11 or more paper machines in one or two of its mills. It is now more less gone. I just put Great Northern Peak in the browser and noticed that you were pretty close to what some other pages said so I moved over a couple of maps west and voila.

Nice page, Bob. Nice pictures, and I sure wouldn't apologize for the one of Mt. Stimson--the scan and smoke makes it almost look like an antique. I like it!

Thanks for looking, Tim! The Stimson one is the only one I didn't rescan. I kind of liked the graininess.
