Nicely put, but small wonder you feel attacted to this mountain, cause in fact the Steinberge closely resemble the mountains of the Julian Alps in both scenery, the nature of the rocks and the actually the shape of the peaks. I once attempted to climb Skrlatica from Aljazev Dom (also 1700 vertical meters) and failed cause I wasn´t strong enough. This climb really came to my mind when climbing both Birnhorn and Grosses Ochsenhorn as being so amazingly similar! | |
