Good page on another mountain in Great Basin NP. A crazy plan would be to climb Baker, Wheeler, Jeff Davis, Bald and Buck Mountain as a loop hike in one day.

Thanks for the vote. Actually, I think that crazy loop plan would be very doable (and highly enjoyable). Certainly, it would be a long day...but fun.

Good page and some nice photos as well. I believe that summit registers can be a bit misleading as to how often a mountain is climbed because sometimes they are difficult to find or maybe a party ascended in winter and didn't realize there was a register.

I agree completely. I just found it interesting that the only two sign-ins were that far apart. Thanks for the vote.

Nice job here! I was up that way a few years ago - Great Basin is a nice getaway from the parts of Nevada it's near....

Very nice page. I have Wheeler on my wish list. This one would be a nice one to do while over in that area.

Thanks Kathy. You will definitely enjoy Wheeler (and the entire area). Many, many fine peaks in that park (though Wheeler gets 98% of the attention).

Thanks Travis. I have a few more, but they don't really add much to the page.
