Nice, Puma. Good to see more Maine mountains here. With the NH 4000ers fully covered, Maine has been falling sadly behind. Three stars 'cause, hey, no photos. Other than that, great stuff.

Thanks ... I figured 3 stars was the best I could hope for with no pics yet.

When you edit a page, the last thing before the overview box say's groups. There is a drop down menu and scearch for ME Appalachain Trail Peaks on the list.

You may want to correct the height of Crocker Mtn. The North Peak is 4168 feet and the South Peak is 4010 feet according to my maps and guidebooks.

Thanks for the vote. Also note, the heights of many peaks in this region were adjusted by the 1999 USGS survey that bumped Spaulding and Reddington above 4000 as well. I have the new heights listed. You are right ... it was 4168.

I should note, however, that I am a hypocrite ... I have Sugarloaf listed as 4237 though it's new height is 4250. The 4237 figure is widely repeated as the height of this popular mountain so I went with the inaccuracy.
