Hasn't voted | I think you may have mistaken Monument Peak with another mountain. As you can see from the pics it is not "strewn with antennas" and there are some class 3-4. I admit they are extremely short but they are not "loose or crappy". David also verifies my claims in his Summit Rocks route. Please revise your summit log. | |

Voted 10/10 | clearly I'm clueless. You're right that I'm mistaken about the proliferation of antennae, but it is the peak I"ve been up a few times. Bad memory is one of those things that plague you when you get old. :-) What I'm remembering is a particularly tall installation lower down, just northwest of the summit that one goes by on the way up. | |
