Is this the first of your BC mountains? Good fossil picture and everyting else including the shot toward the Selkirks and the one showing good height over the river.

All of the Yoho mts I have added are in BC or on the divide (border). Several of the Banff and Kananaskis mountains are on the divide, Isabelle, Storm, Sir Douglas, etc. When I start adding Kootney peaks, those will all be in BC. Thanks Desaine!

This is one of the mountains that caught my eye after buying Kane's book. It looks like it would be a fun but difficult climb.

5000' of it is just a hike Melinda...worth doing and more unique (fossils, views, etc) than average. Field is a really cool mountain town as well in my opinion. Yoho is a great place to spend some quality time. I would be up with doing this mt again via the north ridge if anyone is game. Cheers!

Another gem! Does the route described by Kane include 5th class terrain? I look forward to your next submission! - Colin

I think the scramble should work its way right Colin. I don't know what Kane's notes reflect. Sometimes he is fairly vague. I rather enjoyed the good rock straight up to the ridge. It was two years ago but I remember the rock being very solid therefore I was not searching for the easier break. On descent, the easier route looked to be further to the east than where I ascended. Cheers.

I'm by no means an "expert" on these Canadian National Parks, but nevertheless you are showing me all over again why I consider Yoho my favorite. Thanks for posting! (And even for you...nice photos!)

Saint it is mine as well...it is the smallest of the four main national parks, but my experiences there are more memorable and scenic...it just takes up a cool spot in the range...thanks!

Absolutely gorgeous Dow....I am intrigued by the photo of the range you called the "selkirks", are any of those on SP I could check out?
