I think I had heard of the falls before but had no idea about the icefield. Mt. Olive looks lilke a fetching peak.

It is not a long climb Desaine, but had unstable snow this trip. I would rank it as a high objective for the next one. Happy Holidays.

Yes it is Melinda, words and even photos can't describe being up there. That sunrise we had on the Vulture Glacier was phenomenal and we were lucky for such a clear morning. Those are rare from what I here.

Will be in Vegas sometime during the first two weeks of January, have not scheduled my flight yet, but 80% sure I will make it. Will be looking for a rope partner for Red Rocks for a day or two if anyone you know is interested. Courtney will be out of town for sure. Happy Holidays.

0 feet, 0 meters? You must be joking. You put up an approximate location, why not put up an average altitude?

Thanks and Merry Christmas Peter...look forward to getting in something this coming week, but we need to be thinking scramble. What I have learned is to pick easy scrambles with conditions like this and pack snowshoes. We have been as warm as Calgary these past few days, 45F today. Snow is almost all gone in town. If and when you are up for one, let me know. Hope you are having a good day with the family. Cheers!

Sorry to say, Dow, but I am gone all of those dates. Mexico and then Michigan.
