Elephant Butte is easy, but fun. You may like it.



Yesterday I did the highpoint in the Fiery Furnace, just north of here. It was the most exciting of all.



Tiptoeing across fins with high exposure on each side, and some rather dangerous and highly exposed pitches without protection. I got stuck trying to slide down a crack, but two other members of our party helped pull me out. Four of our party could squeeze down the crack; two of us, including myself couldn't fit and had to do an alternate route down. Its a cool little area.
