Voted 10/10 | Looking good. All 4-star photos, but I assume you may have not gotten too many due to the weather. It is always good to see people gettting out and climbing the mountains in winter.

Hasn't voted | Got a few more pictures added. You guessed right about the weather - was out for a week and it snowed almost constantly. You should see my pics from the day I summitted the NW peak of Granite (December 30th) - visibilty at the summit was around 30 feet, at times it was completely ping pong ball.

Voted 10/10 | Nice photos. I just voted them all 4-stars. It looks cold up there! You should post a TR because it looks like you had a great climb.

Voted 10/10 | Looks great. Thanks for posting. I have always dreamed of going to the Beartooth, but just haven't made it yet. Hopefully someday. Until then, I'll just have to enjoy the SP pages.

Voted 10/10 | (Page now done--vote edited accordingly.) Terrific pictures! Even through the visible cold, I'm envious--must have been quite the outing! Thanks for posting this.

Voted 10/10 | Awesome example of a winter climb, very inspiring, I plan on climbing como peak in early february, not nearly as extreme, but my first winter ascent above 10,000 ft. stay tuned.

Voted 10/10 | Nice page Brice, How many more 12ers do you have to do in the Beartooths? I saw your name in the Sundance Mtn register (it was the only one except for mine). Also, why did you choose to do this one in the winter, of all the 12ers in the beartooths, it just might be the furthest from a TH??? I'll see if I can find a few photos of this one taken from near by peaks - haven't been to the top myself. Brock

Hasn't voted | Hi Brock Not sure why I chose to do this one - I guess I was looking for some punishment. I was hoping for better weather and snow conditions which would have allowed me to get to the base of the mountain a bit quicker, as I had bigger plans to head over the pass and try Villard, Hidden, and Glacier this trip. I did manage to make it up to the NW summit of Granite the following day, but my meager supplies wouldn't allow the trip to continue beyond that. Of the ranked 27 on peakbagger.com, I still have 15, meaning that there are still some good trips ahead. Next trip (maybe in March?) will likely be to the Castle group. Interested?
