I've done this route a half dozen times and probably done the 1st 400 feet slightly differently each time.
A word of warning about soloing - I climbed this thing ropeless the first 3 times, in the company of stronger climbers. This is the real deal of a free solo, fall you die terrain, no question. If you are not SOLID free soloing 5.7 I recommend caution. You'll get to places from where downclimbing will be a daunting prospect, which will force you to contemplate the ropeless moves ahead. A summer of kick ass Meadows under your belt and this won't be a big deal. Fresh off the couch you may be in for a rude wake up call.
Anymore I like to do it in 3 long simulclimbed pitches - basicaly divide the climb into 3rds.
