Instead of the chairlift

There are many options for hiking up on to the Main Range from Thredbo if you want to avoid the $27 chairlift ticket.
The Merrits Nature Track is quite scenic and should only take about 1 hour. Or if you want to get up there quickly, then simply follow the ski runs straight up the slope, which will lead you to the top in under 45 mins.
If you have the time, take the 10km walk up to Eagles nest via Dead Horse Gap. This takes around 2 hours but takes you through some really nice places and affords some nice views of the Ramsheads

	Hasn't voted	Yep, seems like it wasn't near $27 when I went. I gave the page over to dadndave a while back, but anyone can add a route to the page so if you have done one of the routes, you should add it to the page.
