I just did this yesterday. I did the same thing you did, rpc, and went up the crack off to the right. However, I think the climb may be supposed to go over that roof, continuing up the same crack. My guess is it's either a.) horribly sandbagged, b.) much easier than it looks, or c.) I'm wrong.

It was a pretty fun route, though. :)
