Voted 10/10 | is this hike do-able in summer time? and if so, what can i expect? i am heading out there in a month, and am looking for a fairly laid-back hike in this general vicinity to get myself used to the elevation and stretch my legs after being in the car. if this would be an ass-buster, i would appreciate knowing :) otherwise, do you know of any other good acclimating hikes we could do in the area or along I-70 on the way to aspen (our destination)? thanks! | |

Hasn't voted | definately not a summer hike, it wouldn't be fun or safe in the least without snow. A great area hike to get acclimated would be to drive loveland pass from I70, park on the divide and hike to Grizzly Peak near Grays and Torreys. It's all above treeline pretty easy and amazing views. | |
