The mile marker for US-472 is not 359. It is 10 miles earlier, between 349 and 350. Currently, US-472 is closed for travel. Go a few miles north to 2074, and take the dirt road down to where it meets with 472. This will seem to be a fork. Take the left veering fork to the parking lot of the campgrounds.

Also, the summit observation tower is still being worked on. There are signs to a detour. But, you can still go around the signs and safely summit.

I'd like to see more detail, especially since I have done this trail. Seems like you are replacing your old page? Let me know when this is updated, and I would be happy to give you some tips. Oops for the low vote, I will gladly update it.
