Hasn't voted | I agree that the 5.8 pitch is pretty stellar, but was surprised to see no mention of the ancient buttonhead bolts and SMC hangers, several of which were spinners. I know it's only 5.8, but after a few scary bolt incidents at Index lately, they left my heart racing as I led that pitch. Thankfully someone has placed huge new stainless anchors at the belays. |
