Set the bar high MR. OVERACHIEVER!!!!!
For my Arches Group Page, I was going to say:

"It's in Utah. The drive from Portland is long."

But after this page, I'm beginning to think that's inadequate (will need to come up with 2 more sentences).

Thanks. If I would have known I could get away with "drive towards the Ocean from Portland" believe me I would have done it!

Thanks for the vote, sir!

Absolutely love the weather and climate emphasis on the page- a critical component of climbing in the region. The OR precip map is excellent.

My wife probably loves it even more than I do (think shopping in Lincoln City) I see that Onion Peak has a page now. That would make another coast range peak to add to this area.

Thanks, Dean. I thought I had attached it but you are right, it was not. I did correct that and it is attached now.

Yes, I was dragged to the outlet mall in LC before as well by an old girlfriend. Still beats a day in the office though. :-)

Nice page. In regards to:

"Noteable peaks absent from summitpost in the Coast Range are Laurel Mountain Oregon's rainiest place, Mt. Hebo with its array of military towers and the highest peak in the northern section, Rogers Peak. Here's a link to some others."

it may be worth noting that Rogers Peak now has its own summitpost page:

Thanks! I missed that one when submitted. I've corrected the page and actually found a couple others that had been submitted recently to add as well. Appreciate the heads up.
