You've definitley set a high standard for the range pages. The "Monster Maps" is a great idea and resource, thanks for taking the time to do those. Can't wait to see your Gore Range page!

Thanks for the nice vote. Well, I think I'm done with Range pages, too much work. Jon Bradford will be doing one for the Gores, it should be excellent.

ScottElk Range versus Elk Mountains

While searching for this page, I noticed it didn't come up in the search function. I figured out why.

Anyway, all maps label this as the "Elk Mountains" verus the "Elk Range" as labeled here. I just thought I would give a heads up in case you wanted to change the name to Elk Mountains.

Nice map, BTW.

I especially like the "super hikes" section (and maps); would be wonderful if more areas in Colo and elsewhere were as well served

Over a year ago, I used this page to get ideas for a trip out west. A friend and I had a great time doing the Fravert Basin (Four Pass Loop) hike described here. The weather was cloudy and rainy for most of the time, but we got a bluebird day while camped at Snowmass Lake, so we took the opportunity to hike to the summit; it was definitely the highlight of the trip. The information on your page was spot-on and very useful; thanks!
