Voted 10/10 | Mount Greylock is not the highest mountain since the Smokies for northbounders. After the Smokies, one hikes over many, many, many peaks and vast areas far higher than Greylock. For instance, Mount Rogers is north of the Smokies, and stands about 2200 feet higher than Greylock. Even as far north as Shenandoah National Park, a hiker gets to traverse country higher than Grelock by several hundred feet.
Just a very minor point, but one which should be corrected.
