Or, send me some stuff via email and I'll write it up and you can put up the photos. We'll eventually return as well and would love to do more that we haven't yet done, which you already may have. Voted 10/10 | to add - in the early 1980s, I entered C.R. from the WEST. There's a dirt road comin' off Highway 12 called the "Lower Bowns (reservoir) road." A spur road leads down to the LAKE, which historically has had excellent Rainbow trout fishing, and is managed by Dixie National Forest. If you continue in a northeast direction, you cross various washes and eventually END up on the paved "C.R. scenic road" within the Park. The bad news is, I can only find FOUR pictures that I took on that particular day. A 4x4 high-clearance vehicle is highly recommended! I almost got mine stuck when I had to cross an 8' deep washout. My SMILE resumed when I reached the Park!!! | |
