I think it would be cool if you perhaps incorporate photos of potholes, Mae West's, etc into those sections.

Sounds great. I look forward to seeing the Imlay page. You have any other Zion canyons you're thinking of adding?

Maybe Icebox, but it will be a while since I don't have photos scanned.

Most of the stuff I plan on adding wil be "unknown stuff", and since the Zion canyons are fairly well known (at least the ones I've done-Secret Falls is an exception), I wasn't planning on adding much. I will add imlay just because it is so difficult and challenging and a good way to hone in on your keeper pothole skills, if you are prepared.

You could add any Zion ones, though!

Scott. This is an excellent summary of canyoneering hazards and this valuable information could (and probably will) keep many people from harm.

I think this should be re-posted as a front page article on SP.

Hopefully, everyone interested in canyoneering will give it a read. My limited canyoneering experiences have been awesome and unforgettable.
