ScottConvention center?

What ever happened to the convention center that was proposed for the summit. Haven't kept up since moving to Colorado.

I am not completely sure, but what I remember reading is that Save Our Canyons, a local conservation group, petitioned the Forest Circus and was not able to stop them from building, but at least convinced them to build a scaled-down version of the original.

I will try to put up more information about these issues as I build the page. I might contact you for a few pointers on building good pages, because this is my first. Would you be willing to give me a few pointers?

This page is very good for the mountain. I like the sections on local history involving current events. Hopefully Snowbird can be stopped...

When you finish your route pages, I'll change my vote.

about making this an SP page, but with an emphasis on the history and current political debates, I think that it is very valuable - thanks for putting it up!

Also, ORVs are allowed in Peruvian Gulch, at least those operated by Snowbird. Walking down the dirt road after climbing Pipeline Couloir on the AF Twins I had to get out of the way of an ORV touring group. You could hear them coming from a looonnng ways away :-(

dillweeddo you mean Gad Valley?

below AF Twins is Gad Valley - Peruvian Gulch is between Baldy and Hidden Peak. I was just not sure if ORV's are allowed in both canyons - but I would guess that they go anywhere on the resort.
