Unfortunately I know also Lugauer only from pictures :-(

You can add on The Lugauer page and Oetscher page something like this:

On the web, you can see a detailed map on: http://www.austrianmap.at/.

The time will come, Vid. I know it, one is moving this year's projects to the upcoming season - all the time. You know, how I got to Lugauer? Phoned for some accomodation on Friday and did it the next day. Thank you for the suggestion, the map is on most of my pages now.

Lugauer got 10 points from you (and Gangolf). Wow. That's unfair, there are pages with much more work invested. Thank you much, anyway. :-)

to the Ennstal Alps page (as parent), to which it belongs - if I'm not mistaken. Well written page with beautiful shots. I'm quite happy that this part of the Alps gets more attention!

Thank you, Gangolf. I completely missed the birth of that page. I think that this part of the Alps deserves some attention, Gesäuse looks like the Dolomites in some way.

Yes, Gesäuse is definitely a very beautiful area.

Route from Johnsbach:
The traverse Hüpflingerhals - Zirbengarten - Fürstensitz - Fürstenplan to Lugauerplan is a biotope of Wood Grouse and Black Grouse and closed for all mountaineers.
A marked winter trail has been setup via Hüpflingeralm - Wagriedlschlag - Haselkaralm to Lugauerplan.
