I was reading your TR page on the W Ridge route and might consider taking the kids up it. It's been 25 years since I've been up Prusik and I appreciated you route info to help refresh my memory. Hasn't voted | Hi Derek, Thank you very much - appreciate the kind word. Sounds like a great way to spend a week with the family! West Ridge is a great route - I have realy fun memories of that climb (...maybe not so much the approach or the hike out :) Last weekend we got 2 surprises on that trip. First, we actually got a permit on Sat. morning. Second, we did not see another soul (other than dayhikers coming down from Ench. on Saturday) - had the whole mountain to ourselves.
