Darwin's North Face (in a day), but I would call this statement correct :) My partner was wearing approach shoes and thoroughly smoked me on the way in and on the way out ... Nice work - Doug said he was going in to check it out ... I guess I will get the scoop from him later next week in the North Cascades. | |

Hasn't voted | Is there really sustained, overhanging, technical ice with not so great pro? I find it difficult to believe that a couloir climb in California could really be WI5+. So do you find I9 harder than the first pitch of Ames Ice Hose? | |
