Meaning sun mountain? So the Kleiner has a smaller foot print than the Grosser? I would guess the Grosser Solstein to be about 8300 feet tall.

Grosser Solstein is 8337ft (quite a good guess). Kleiner Solstein is smaller but higher ;) I don' t know if Solstein means sun mountain, but my poor latin skills tell me that sol=sun and stein=stone (mountain) and I would say that this explanation may be correct. Cheers Lukas

Nice page, excellent photos and a beautiful panorama! The picture of train stops is not exactly on-topic here, but a funny idea. :)

Thanks dedo! I thought it might be useful to post something like that here. Even if the train connection is bad it' s still a good alternative and this chart gives an idea how long you' ll be driving...
