Hasn't voted | At my advanced age, it's difficult to remember. But, I think so. It's actually a great route, and using the Baker Lake Ridge as the descent, one I believe you'd like. Not as a challenge, but as a "rest day" climb with plenty of opportunities for photography.
Unfortunately, the portion of the route from the trailhead to Gem Lake is also used to reach North Trapper, and that's one I KNOW you'll want to do. Of course, if everyone's (could be just the 2 of us) legs hold out after North Trapper, it would be possible to climb the gully, then hit Trapper and descend by the Baker Lake Ridge. It'd be a hell-of-a day, but if we could make it, one never to be forgotten.
