Voted 10/10 | Ok I will sound like a stupid ninny but what the hell is "sandbag" I see it all over and I know it is not good but I don't really know what it means. (blush) I know some one who scrambled up it and they didn't mention class 5 anything. But I also have to look at the person who did it, because class 3 to them is class 1...>rolling eyes< Thanks Martin | |

Voted 10/10 | Tazz, sandbag = rating something easier than it actually is/feels (ex: Aries is rated 5.8 but when I got on it, it felt stiffer than many 5.9's). | |

Hasn't voted | No worries. It means that the actual difficulty is higher than the rating implies. For example, the third pitch of Aries is rated 5.8 in the guidebook, but feels more like 5.9+. That's a sandbag. Cheers | |
