	Hasn't voted	Thank you! Maybe we'll run into each other out there. Actually, since you mentioned Mount Cowen, just let me know if you'll be out that way around July 10 or so, if you know yet. My air tickets cover me for July 7-15, and though I haven't solidified plans so far in advance, I'm almost certainly heading up into the Absarokas. Maybe we can get together, maybe not, but I remember the invite and did intend to honor it if I could. By the way, I'll be posting an article soon, and in it I've quoted something you wrote me recently that I found to be perfectly eloquent despite its simplicity (that's a compliment-- I like economy of words, even if you can't tell from my own writings). Whether or not you'll like the page is something I don't know, but I hope you'll like and appreciate the quote. Take care-- Bob

Ice Man Jerry Van

Good page and informat iion on the Absarokas

I use to back country skiing there. Of course the bears were always sleeping for the winter. That was from 1978 to about 1982. It was so nice you seem to have the whole mountain range to your self once you got past the snowmobile area. I enjoy alot of your pages and information you bring to summit. Thank you. Off to Vail I go, have to climb there for ice first time out this winter. From Jerry

	Hasn't voted	Jerry, thank you very much for the kind words. Kirwin is one of my favorite places ever, and I might be heading back there next summer. I can't get enough of it, and part of why is what you said: the sense of having the whole range to yourself. Enjoy Vail and take care!
