Voted 10/10 | I lived in Udon Thani for 2-1/2 years during the Vietnam War (and spent considerable time at Nakhon Ratchsima and Ubon, as well, after moving to the Philippines). Wasn't much opportunity to hike or climb, but I did travel around the country a lot on my Honda CB-125 motorcycle. Thanks for the excellent resource! --mark .d | |

Hasn't voted | Thanks Mark! Wow, it must be a small world. My dad also lived in Udon Thani during the Vietnam War. This is where he met my mom. I took a trip to Thailand last year and explored the area for a month with my family. Glad to hear from someone who has been there before, I appreciate your vote. | |

Hasn't voted | Thanks Larry. I wish I could have spent more time hiking and climbing mountains. My relatives have never traveled anywhere in their life so they thought it was the greatest thing in the world. They were unaware of the incredible place they live in. I didn’t have a good camera with me so my photos did not come out very well. Maybe someone else will add better photos later. | |
