I honestly don't see what you are complaining about here. The pictures are really good, and make me want to come out and visit!

Thank you, Byron. What I try not to do is KEEP bad pictures, though. I did submit one stinker here, though it was for route info. The others turned out better than they looked to me at first.

You just raised a good point. One problem with this site is that we vote in terms of quality/beauty of the shot. Sometimes very valuable, useful or educational info in a picture is overlooked. I've submitted quite a few poor shots just because they were useful. By the way, your page is excellent!

Thanks, and you are right. I have to remind myself that SP is not a photo gallery even though there are many museum-quality images here (including some of yours). So I've been voting 10 on many pages that have excellent captions and diagrams even if the picture isn't too aesthetically pleasing. A good route photo is just as valuable as an awesome sunset picture, maybe even more so.
