Thanks Radek. Gramps (sp) came by one day and I think we found the 2nd (only to Monkey Face's 5.7 pitch out the mouth) most exposed "5.7" pitch I have seen on Pygmy Alien....I have done some nasty traveres on some of the old timers Island in the Sky routes as well...with the old pitons, the whole time wondering what the hell they were looking for!

skunk apeR=Run Out!

Voted 10/10

My wife and I ran from Idaho’s November weather and landed in snow canyon for three days. Warm and beautiful! We thrashed and thrutched our way up Jimmy D on the second day. I decided the R rating meant Run out! We had some laughs after we found the walk off.

My wife did this one with me as well before we lived here and were just visitors ourselves, I think 2005-6. Have felt no need to do the route again. Fun, but not Snow Canyons's best route by any stretch. That Idaho can be gloomy this time of year. Nov was always the month we left the Canadian Rockies for a road trip, hard to ski, hard to find reliable ice...real hard to beat Snow Canyon in Nov, that is for sure. Cheers Wes.
