...make this Butte look like something high above timberline, a nice mountain range, or a Cascade or Mexican volcano. Good job.

Thanks for checking it out- just timing the outing to include snow, and taking pictures on the steepest parts is what makes some of these work (as decent pages and photos). A few more weeks and this will be just a brown bump again. Same thing with Cervidae and Heinen and some others.

Nice work Sean. I was checking out the view heading northbound on Star Road today, and this totally dominates the surroundings. Looked pretty cool with the morning sunshine and a fresh coat of snow. FYI, the lat/lon are a bit off.

Thanks for checking it out- now's a good time to do this peak. Thanks for letting me know about the Lat/Lon- it was way off! It appears that SP put the Lat/Lon automatically in from something else- it looked like the LAt/Lon was near the Supes in AZ! I'm surprised Squaw hadn't been documented already, given it's proximity to the valley and it's a decent scramble.
