Voted 10/10

Hey MI, you've got almost all of my favorite spots in the San Gabriels covered, brings back lots of great memories from a few years back when I lived in Torrance. I was in the SG's whenever possible. Thanks! There used to be a self serve permit box at the trailhead. Isn't that there anymore?

Vic,
Thanks very much for your note. I've not seen any permit box at this trailhead; I'll have to check to see what happened to it. By the way, how did you end up in Peru?
Best regards,
Augie

Augie, I came on a short term hiking mission trip, fell in love with Cotahuasi and moved back here. Been continuing the mission work and now have an adventure travel business here as well. Vic
