I love the up-dated information in your trip reports. The place
(in central AZ) where I live is mainly 'Hook and Bullet.' That's why I have so much trouble gathering climbing beta, because I'm not affiliated with a hiking or mountaineering group, like I was when I lived in the PAC NW.

Sarah, you might want to check out the newest published edition of 'National Geographic' magazine. Awesome article on fires in there! They are indeed burning hotter, just like you stated.

Have a nice weekend! -Larry of AZ

Thanks, Larry. Yeah, I just figured I'd give folks the headsup that the crowd around these mountains is more "Pork 'n Beaners" than "LL Beaners". My husband and I are the kind of over-educated rednecks (real live contradictions) who get along with folks all over the spectrum, but not everyone feels the same way.

~smiling~ A little bit of humor never hurts me none. Think I'll
get to work on those pork 'n beans! Take care. :)
