Pacifico has history. The granite boulders and small crags scattered around the mountain offer some bouldering and short top rope climbs. Though nothing spectacular, this area has been used since the early days of climbing in California, by some of the state's climbing pioneers, to hone their skills for the more challenging routes of the Sierra and beyond. World famous Yosemite climber Royal Robbins reportedly learned to climb here with the Boy Scouts in the 1950's.

Pacifico is briefly mentioned in the Southern California Bouldering Guide, by Craig Fry.

Thanks for stopping by. I really liked all the crags. I really want to go back and explore the ones to the west of the main peak.
