Hasn't voted | I was unable to descend this route without running into a considerable amount of class 3 on the upper 1000', mostly in the form of poorly connected scree-filled benches. I made it down without too much trouble, and it was actually quite fun in spots, but it wasn't what I was expecting. I descended from the summit ridge approximately where it intersects the north face rib.. and its entirely possible this was the wrong place. Do you recall (in words or pictures) exactly where to descend? Incidentally Secor rates the east face as class 3 as well.. | |

Hasn't voted | This kmz file that open in Google Earth shows you exactly where we left the summit ridge. We headed down west of the intersection of the north ridge. There was one section up top where I encountered some class 3 ledges, but we climbed back up and went to the west and avoided them. I basically did not need to do any climbing, just scrambling over rocks. The kmz file has a few pics, if you can't open them let me know and I will e-mail them to you, | |
